Role & Responsibilities:
Business/Department Objectives
• To provide Foreign Exchange Services to the ICG clients. Client segments primarily include Local Corporates, Public Sector Group, Global Subsidiaries Group, Banks and non-bank Financial Institutions
Core Responsibilities:
• To provide Foreign Exchange Services to the portfolio of clients in the allotted client segment. Client segments primarily include Local Corporates, Public Sector Group, Global Subsidiaries Group, Banks and non-bank Financial Institutions
• Foreign Exchange Services include:
• Advising clients on managing FX Risk by understanding client’s business currency risk involved and advising on hedging approach/instruments
• Updating clients on key market developments & trends, global and domestic economic indicators and Citi’s forecast on currencies
• Building strong relationship with the clients to win “new to the bank” flows from prospects & underpenetrated names and actively engage with defense names to retain Citi’s Share of Wallet
• Advising clients on FX conversion for transactions where the client has control over the timing of underlying routine flow (eg Trade flows, etc)
• Ensuring that all “FX Flows” are captured including the one-off opportunities, FX flows meaning all conversion of FX irrespective on an underlying Trade transaction. Example, Equity Remittances/Sundry Payments/Royalty Payments etc.
• Close interaction with coverage teams, TTS and other business groups, on an ongoing basis, for an informed business pitch to the clients for additional business
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Routine face to face meeting/telephonic discussions with the clients to increase Citi’s business with the client
• Being updated on key global economic developments, news, factors influencing market moves in Bangladesh and across the globe
• Liaise with coverage teams, TTS and other business units of the bank to discuss strategy with respect to the client groups and perform wallet analysis
• Follow news on the clients business that can generate one off flows (mergers/takeover/Capex)
• Respond to incoming telephone calls on a daily basis to settle client enquiries and fix rates
• Making Outward Telephone calls and face to face calls to promote business with clients
• Resolution of rates for transactions raised/ monitoring control aspects/ closure of books
• Documentation follow ups for all Confirmations and Underlying Exposures
Financial/Budgetary: USD 2-3 Mio

Qualifications
Education:
• Post-graduation (MBA/CA)
Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience
Skills:
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, confident and ability to steer discussions
• High enthusiasm and energy levels, self-driven
• Demonstrate thought leadership and ideas for increasing Citi’s business & revenues. Ability to create longer term; content, trust and advisory based relationships with customers in the portfolio
• Team player and collaborate effectively with other internal stakeholders
• Analytical skills
